Summer Aerial Class Descriptions
We're excited to offer some new classes to our summer schedule, including Rope (New Apparatus!), Flexibility & Technique Class, and Acro! π
We offer a variety of aerial and acrobatics classes for all skill levels. Whether your child is a beginner or an experienced aerialist, we have a class that fits their needs!
BEGINNER AERIAL CLASSES

Summer Beginner Classes & Mini Beginner Series
A fun introduction to aerial arts! This class is perfect for new students who want to learn the basics of aerial hoop (lyra) and hammock.
Choose between a 6-week session or a 4-week mini-series (one in June and one in July).
INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED AERIAL CLASSES
π Performance Team Prep (Hammock & Lyra)
For students looking to improve their aerial skills or prepare for the performance team! This class focuses on building strength, refining technique, and learning smooth transitions in hammock and lyra. (Those who wish to try out for the performance team are strongly encouraged to attend.)
πͺ’ Rope (New Apparatus!)
Students will learn basic climbs, wraps, and tricks while developing strength and coordination. This class also introduces dynamic movements for an exciting new challenge. No rope experience needed!
π Split Panel (Aerial Silks)
Students will master basic aerial silks skills like climbs, foot knots, and hip keys. As they progress, they will learn more advanced moves like drops and fluid transitions. Great for both beginners and those refining their technique!
πͺ Performance Team Intensive & Audition
A required two-week program for students trying out for the fall performance team. Week one focuses on learning choreography, and week two is for group auditions and practice.
π Summer Hammock & Lyra Solo/Duo Open Gyms
For soloists and duos who want to keep working on their routines over the summer! This hour-long session is dedicated to refining and perfecting acts for our outdoor aerial performances. (Mandatory for those performing.)
ACROBATICS & FLEXIBILITY CLASSES
π€Έ Acro 1 (Beginner)
A great introduction to basic acrobatics! Students will learn cartwheels, handstands, bridges, and rolls while improving strength, flexibility, and coordination. No experience needed!
π€ΈββοΈ Acro 2 (Intermediate)
For students ready to advance their acro skills! This class focuses on refining handstands, cartwheels, and walkovers while building strength and flexibility.
π§ Flexibility & Technique Class
Designed for aerialists, dancers, gymnasts, and movers who want to improve flexibility and control. This class uses stretching drills and strength exercises to help students achieve better lines, deeper poses, and increased body awareness. Open to all levels!
