Beginning Aerial Workshops

A workshop is a great way to introduce aerial to your child. The workshop is a single, 1-hour class that guides students through the basics of aerial. It includes definitions of the apparatuses, safety protocols, and the opportunity to interact with both the lyra hoop and the aerial hammock. They will learn basic moves that will give them a good idea if aerial dance is a sport they would like to pursue.

A workshop is recommended before signing up for a season if your child has never tried aerial before, as the apparatuses can feel “pinchy” and some kids find this is not for them. Classes are separated by age groups, so please make sure to sign your child up in the correct age group.
